June 22nd and 23rd saw the second Open House show held at Trixie’s head office in South Willesborough in Kent. Customers and potential customers were invited to view racks of new Trixie lines, collect the company’s bumper new colour catalogue and take advantage of discounts, promotions and generous hospitality. Many retailers, some of who where new to Trixie, took advantage of the event. The company opened new accounts and introduced new lines to existing customers.

On arrival visitors were given a welcome pack including promotional gifts and entry to a draw for a totally FREE show order. A 10% discount was given on all show orders making sure the trip was worthwhile for everybody who made the journey.

A large area of Trixie’s warehouse was impressively merchandised for the open days. Around 900 new pet accessories provided much inspiration for pet store buyers wishing to refresh their shelves. The display was divided by section to dogs, cats, small animals, birds and aquarium products and in catalogue order. The whole Trixie warehouse was accessible for visitors to view all of the company’s 5,000 plus products. In the sunshine, visitors enjoyed BBQ food, salads, gateau and fresh strawberries and cream.

The Trixie show unveiled impressive new designs of outdoor hutches, a large selection of new beds including a wicker range, new cat-scratching products, dog coats, fun new dog and cat toys for the autumn season and much more!

The impressive display of new collars leads and harnesses included new colours and modern designs. A variety of new nylon and imitation leather collars and leads were seen for the first time, including Softline Reflect Stripe, great colours and print designs in Mollita, Savanne and Amazonas Coco. Bovini is a new high-quality buffalo leather range and Prezioso Elegance Elch a soft high-quality cow nappa leather range with cross motifs.

Taking pride of place at the show where two sizes of Trixie Bike Trailer designed to help older or injured dogs participate in excursions (attached to the back of the owners push bike). From the Tcamp range, the new ‘Tent for Dog’ and ‘Sleeping Bag’ products will provide something new and different for the dog owner who enjoys the outside life. A new brown and beige Dog Activity range including a Baggy Deluxe (with special lead system), MultiBelt, portable food bag and water bowl continued the outdoor theme.

Trixie are now planning a Harrogate show on 7th of September where the company will set up a similar display and meet customers from The North of England.
