Trixie Expand Dog Activity Range

Trixie is now offering a range of six dog activity toys. Three of the toys are LEVEL 1 difficulty and 3 are LEVEL 2 ability for dogs that have already learned to master the basics. The toys are designed for interaction between dog and owner and to encourage the dog’s mentally ability. Treats are used as rewards with the toys to encourage dogs to carry out a variety of tasks such as lifting or pulling different object with their mouths and moving buttons.

New toys in the Trixie Dog Activity range are called Poker Box and Roulette and they are both LEVEL 2 difficulty. Other products in the range are the Gambling Box, Kicker, Solitaire and Chess games which have already proven to be successful lines for the company. An exercise book with each game recommends a programme to introduce the toy and to advance though the training making it gradually more difficult. Each Trixie activity toy has non-slip rubber feet and is suitable for dogs of all ages.

The new product Poker Box is for advanced learners and is made up from a square with 4 compartments. Each compartment uses a different method to open and release the treats. Three compartments of Poker Box open from the top, one from the side with some lifting and some sliding required by the dog. Poker Box is 31 x 10 x 31 cm with an RRP of £23.90.

The second new product Roulette is a round game (29 x 2.5cm), the dog must rotate a disc on the top of the game using a peg, once the hole is in exactly the right place a treat will be exposed! Roulette is a harder LEVEL 2 game with an RRP of £16.96.

Running for a ball challenges a dog physically, whilst these toys are designed to challenge them mentally. All products in the range are sold boxed. They utilize red and yellow colours and are clearly branded with the Activity name. Activity toys of varying designs have become increasingly popular in recent years, which can only be fun for dogs and for their owners!
