Tranquillity Aquatic and Reptile Centre have specialised in reptiles for many years. Around 25% of the company’s total business is in reptiles and this has remained steady despite increased competition. Tranquillity has been breeding reptiles for many years building an excellent reputation in Brighton and the surrounding area. The shop breeds and sells popular species such as corn snakes, geckos, bearded dragons, water dragons and royal pythons. These homebred animals are well adapted to captivity, healthy, calm and easy to keep.

David Ford heads this well-established family business in Brighton. David said, “Its great that we have won. We are expanding our reptile section to accommodate the new CASCO units”. David added, “I had CASCO quote for replacing our aquatic systems many months ago and found the company very professional. Because it’s CASCO, I am expecting these units to be something really special!” 

The two units will be in different configurations with several compartments to house a variety of species. Included is a specialist tortoise tank. The reptile units include heat lamps and thermo controllers. As part of the prize, Tranquillity can choose substrate, plants, branches and rocks to create a perfect environment to show customers how reptiles should be kept.

Ian Blinco, UK Sales Manager at CASCO, visited Tranquillity and congratulated David and his son-in-law to be Mark Lane with a celebratory bottle of bubbly. After a little re-shuffling, the store will be ready for installation of the two new reptile displays. Very soon it will be all systems go for the reptile expansion at Tranquillity in Brighton, thanks to a lucky win! 

CASCO is a company with a growing reputation for generous show promotions, recently giving away a £20,000 shop fit to one lucky winner. It was decided to run with reptile units at the PATS shows as CASCO are seeing it as a growth area.
