Trixie Launch its 2009 Coat Collection

A re-vamped dog coat collection, now available from Trixie, provides plenty of new lines with a great deal of variety and originality. Offering value for money, style, traditionalism and fashion, a selection of new Trixie raincoats, anoraks and pullovers have just become available. Accompanying these coats is a new range of Dog T-shirts and Dog Sweatshirts with modern motifs and in a variety of modern colours. All together the new ‘clothing collection’ from Trixie provides something for all tastes this season to keep the nations dogs warm, dry and looking good!

For really bad weather, the new Raincoat ‘Cayres’ is highly water-repellent and windproof. This coat has the unique feature of detachable trousers. The raincoat is made from hard-wearing nylon and has a roll up hood and bib for extra protection. With extra long trouser legs, this coat is ideal for dogs that are walked in muddy conditions or even in snow. Velcro makes the coat easy to put on and a drawstring around the chest provides a good fit. Raincoat ‘Cayres’ has reflective stripes for safety and is washable at 30 °C. This is a practical, smart and modern wet weather dog coat, with suggested retail prices from £15.22 for extra small to £20.79 for large.

Two new fashion ‘anorak style’ dog coats are now also available. The ‘Vichy’ dog anorak is cream with a fur lined hood, and ‘Torino’ is a short jacket style in brown with embroidery on the back. Both anoraks have fur lined hoods and are made of easy-care polyester with a warm soft plush lining. The anorak hoods are secured with press studs allowing a lead to pass easily though the gap. Suggested retail prices are from £12.44 to £18.01 for the ‘Vichy’ anorak.

Trixie has also added five new doggy pullovers in five sizes, extra small (25cm) though to medium (45cm). The ‘Montreal’ pullover is made of synthetic wool with a turtleneck and a scarf which stands this coat out from the crowd. In blue and orange, the ‘Montreal’ pullover has an extra warm bib, Velcro strips and extra loops for the dog’s legs.

The new ‘Winnipeg’ pullover is in the same colours as the ‘Montreal’, with a more elaborate pattern and a hood. Other pullovers include the ‘Edmonton’ with a turtleneck and extra sleeves for forelegs in a smart pink, blue and white harlequin design.

Two other pullovers make up the collection. The ‘Kingston’ pullover, made of easy-care synthetic wool, is black with a rhinestone gem designs on the back. The fifth new pullover is the ’North Bay’ which is made of cotton and has a fashionable hood and a bib. ’North Bay’ has a stylish skull and crossbones design and a pocket on the back.

In all 16 new dog coats, anoraks, pullovers and T-Shirts have been launch in the Trixie 2009 collection, in a variety of sizes. T-Shirts are made from 97% cotton and 3% lycra and are washable at 30 °C. Prices vary depending on the size and style and all products are sold in poly bags with hangers and labels explaining sizing.
